Westward Ho!

Geoffrey Cox, Member of Parliament for Torridge and West Devon, is convening a meeting of relevant statutory authorities on Friday, 2 August, to discuss both disabled access onto the beach at Westward Ho! and the long-term coastal management plan for the area.

Appledore Shipyard

Geoffrey said: “My thanks to the Secretary of State for Defence for a good discussion of the ongoing MOD work to help map out a new future for Appledore Shipyard.”

Cimate Change

Local MP for Torridge and West Devon, Geoffrey Cox QC, invited constituents to a meeting on climate change in the Houses of Parliament yesterday, Wednesday 26 June 2019.

The group had travelled to London to take part in the #TheTimeIsNow lobby to raise awareness about climate change.

School visits

Geoffrey Cox QC, Member of Parliament for Torridge and West Devon, visited High Bickington CofE Academy and Great Torrington School on Friday 7 June as part his regular programme of school engagement.

Westward Ho! disabled access

Following his visit to Westward Ho! in May, Geoffrey Cox, Member of Parliament for Torridge and West Devon, raised with Torridge District Council the issue concerning the lack of disabled access onto the beach.

New NHS beds in Holsworthy
