On 2 September 2022, Geoffrey visited the Abbeyfield Tavistock Society. This local charity provides sheltered accommodation, companionship, and structured support to people over 60.
Geoffrey was moved by the enthusiasm and commitment of staff members for the welfare of those in their care. The extraordinary work of charities like the Abbeyfield Tavistock Society reinforce his conviction that improving the quality of care in the UK should be one of our highest priorities.
